Pinky Amador

Pinky Amador admits she is scared of becoming dependent on others.

Pinky Amador is living her best life while being single at the age of 59. Just a year away from being 60, Pinky reflects on her current perspective on love and insecurities.

During her guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Thursday, the Binibining Marikit actress shared her views on love.

"That love always needs respect, always. ['Pag nawawala 'yon,] then it might not be love," she said.

King of Talk Boy Abunda directly asked Pinky about the previous time she fell in love.

"Matagal na," she answered briefly, not revealing private details.

Nonetheless, Pinky remains open to love.

"I'm not closing the door, but I found myself happy by myself, which I think is important before getting into a relationship," she said wholeheartedly.

Pinky also shared her take on the advantages and disadvantages of being in love.

"What's good about it is you're not answering to anyone. You have freedom talaga, hindi ka na kailangang magpaalam. Ang mahirap doon is siyempre, very basic questions like mortality," Pinky explained.

She continued, "Parang, 'May mag-aalaga ba sa akin pagtanda ko?' May hahawak ba ng kamay ko on my deathbed?' Morbid, I guess 'yun 'yung pinakagrabe. Pero until we get to that point, wala naman."

Pinky also revealed her vulnerable side and her fears.

"Natatakot akong maging walang silbi. Natatakot akong maging dependent sa iba. Nakakatakot iyon," Pinky admitted.

Binibining Marikit, which also stars Herlene Budol and Pokwang, airs on weekdays at 4:05 p.m., right after Mommy Dearest.
