Aside from the ceremony itself, one of the most important and talked-about moments before a marriage is how the guy proposed to his wife-to-be. And Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista has a funny story about how he popped the question to his wife, Kat Ramnani.

In Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Tuesday, May 6, King of Talk Boy Abunda asked Christian Bautista to recall how he proposed to Kat, to which the singer shared that he has a funny story about it.

“Merong European tour na nangyari and then sabi ko sa kaniya, 'Meron akong European tour, magkita naman tayo sa Greece kasi nandu'n na 'ko, makakatipid tayo.' Pumunta siya du'n, tinago ko po 'yung engagement ring,” Christian shared.

The Asia's Romantic Balladeer continued that he was looking for the perfect spot or moment to propose, but he couldn't find one. However, he noticed that he won't be able to propose anyway since the ring went missing.

“Nawala 'yung engagement ring kasi nilagay ko sa check in at 'yung eroplano, pinadala sa ibang bansa. So parang nagtanong ako sa sarili ko, parang 'Is this a sign? What's going on?' I was so, so distraught,” Christian shared.

He continued, “And then, thank God, after a few days, nahanap 'yung bag and then nu'ng nakita ko na 'yung bag and the ring, I proposed like that night.”

Kat shared that she was in her pajamas, in their hotel room, when Christian popped the question, “He proposed to me in my pajamas na may butas-butas on our last night. So in all the beautiful spots in Europe, no, he just did it in the room, in private, in my Winnie the Pooh pajamas with butas on it.”

Christian defended himself, saying that he just wanted to show Kat that he did not need all the sceneries in Europe to propose. Christian just needed Kat --- and he made the moment perfect.
