Rufa Mae Quinto revealed that she and Trevor Magallanes are still legally married, but they have decided to separate.

In the Friday episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Rufa Mae Quinto said that her relationship with Trevor Magallanes is okay and that they still have "respect for each other."

“Move on muna. Pero we respect each other.

The actress comedienne admitted that despite her love for her estranged husband, they have agreed to go their separate ways.

She added that their many differences led to the end of their nine-year marriage.

Even though she and Trevor have separated, Rufa said that she still wants to help their daughter, Athena, understand her father's situation.

“Sinasabi ko sa kaniya na your dad will always be your dad kahit anong mangyari.

According to Rufa, the problems in her relationship with Trevor began last year, but she chose to remain silent for the sake of their child.

"Kasi nangyari po ito sa amin, last year pa. Hindi lang ako nagsasalita. Iniisip ko 'yung anak ko na papaano 'yun baka mag-adjust, masaktan," she said.

Rufa and Trevor got married in 2016, and the actress gave birth to Athena the following year.

In January 2025, Rufa revealed that she and Trevor were going through challenges in their relationship.

However, Rufa said she has no plans of filing for divorce now that they are based in the U.S.
