GMA Network, Inc. Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon gave a rare commendation to the whole cast, creative team, and production crew of 2021's number one program, First Yaya, starring Sanya Lopez and Gabby Concepcion.

Throughout the show's run from March 15, 2021 to July 2, 2021, First Yaya consistently topped the Philippine primetime television ratings. In fact, First Yaya ranked number 1 in the Top Programs of 2021, both in Urban Philippines and Total Philippines.

Despite the pandemic, First Yaya managed to conduct multiple lock-in tapings, with zero COVID-19 cases detected among the staff and the crew, in order to continue their mission of bringing world class entertainment to Filipinos.

Because of these achievements, Atty. Gozon himself applauded the show's cast members and crew for their successful run and for a "job well-done."

The commendation memo reads, "It is my great pleasure to commend the program heads, cast, creative, technical, and production teams of First Yaya for the show's successful run on primetime television and for having ranked #1 in the Top Programs of 2021 report in both Urban Philippines and Total Philippines."
