Snooky started in showbiz at a very young age. What does she think of the work attitude of today's young stars, including Lauren Young, her adopted daughter in the primetime series "Genesis"?

Very grateful ang versatile actress na si Snooky Serna na sa kanya ibinigay ang role na Elena, ang adoptive mother ni Lauren Young, sa primetime series na Genesis.

She describes her character as "very simple and very naive in a lot of ways," mga katangiang sana raw ay mayroon din ang totoong Snooky.

GMANetwork.com had an exclusive interview with Snooky on the set of Genesis recently, and she shared her experience in playing Elena, and why she is in love with both Lauren Young and Lorna Tolentino.

"Mabuting tao siya, mababa ang kalooban, mapagmahal, martyr," paglalarawan niya sa kanyang role.

Nakaka-relate ba siya sa kanyang character?

Sana raw ay makuha niya maski mahigit kalahati man lang ng qualities ni Elena.

“I'm trying my best to be a good mother. Hindi naman siguro martyr, pero I'm trying to have a good heart. I'm trying to be as simple as I can be. Minsan kasi kapag masyado kang maraming iniisip, mas mahirap pa 'yun. Mas maganda 'yung simple-minded ka lang, you have simple pleasures. You enjoy the real blessings in life, your children, your family," she shares.

Snooky says she admires Lauren Young’s professionalism, even if it is her first time to work together with the young actress.

She admits that she is attracted to people who are unaffected by fame, and finds no-attitude Lauren as “refreshing.”

"I say this with all of my heart: I'm so in love with Lauren Young. Not only as an actress, but as a person... I am really, really impressed with Ms. Lauren Young," she says.

Snooky started in showbiz at an early age. Nakikita kaya niya ang kanyang sarili noon kay Lauren?

"Actually I would like to say that Lauren is a much better professional than I am,” she confesses.

She recalls that she had her fair share of “pagkapasaway” during her heyday, which she now regrets. She finds it heartening that many of today’s young stars are professional workers like Lauren.

As for working with Ms. Lorna Tolentino for the third time, she says, “It's always a pleasure to work with her kasi she's the type of movie star na kahit na alam niyang andun siya, ibang level ang Lorna Tolentino, wala siyang insecurities. And she's so giving in a sense na hindi siya 'yung agaw-eksena. Walang ka-attitude-attitude. Isa pa ring taong totoong-totoo, and I really respect her and I can honestly say that I am also in love with Lorna Tolentino."
