Binibining Pilipinas may be over but that doesn't mean you can't prepare for the upcoming pageant season.

On a special web episode of Glow Up, Miss Eco International 2018 Thia Thomalla invited hairstylist MJ Rone who has done the hairstyles of both celebrities and beauty queens like Megan Young and Laura Lehmann.

In the video below, MJ shares three easy hairstyles - straight, curly, and top knot bun - that you can achieve at the comfort of your own home.

To achieve a straight and voluminous hair, MJ advices that it is best to start with a blow-dried hair. He then used hair extensions to add volume to Thia's thin mane and finishes the look by using a small brush to comb her baby hairs.

For the second look, he tries to achieve soft curly waves by wrapping Thia's hair in a curling iron with a 2-inch barrel. He says that it's best to wrap the hair outwards to frame one's face shape. He then goes over her hair one more time with a brush to give it a softer feel.

Lastly is Thia's favorite look, the top knot bun, which is known to give the illusion of a leaner and longer look.

To help achieve this, MJ attaches a hairpin on both ends of the elastic band and wraps it around her hair to create a knot. He then added extensions to give a bit of volume and braids it together with Thia's real hair. He wraps it around like a donut and then secures it in place with hair pins.
