Beauty Gonzalez expressed gratitude as GMA Network has been generous to her by giving her insightful and unique projects since her transfer in June 2021.

Her first regular Kapuso show, the mini series Loving Miss Bridgette, received a positive reception from viewers for its adorably inspiring story of May-December romance. Loving Miss Bridgette is the first story under the GMA afternoon drama anthology Stories From The Heart which she top billed with Kelvin Miranda.

Following its success, Beauty will now headline new primetime mini series AlterNate, a new installment under hit GMA anthology I Can See You, this time with no less than Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.

As a new Kapuso, the Filipino-Spanish actress felt flattered to be partnered with the primetime actor saying it's a "dream come true."

But apart from being Dingdong's newest leading lady, Beauty takes pride in how the story of AlterNate has been executed.

AlterNate follows the story of Nate, played by Dingdong. Nate lives a comfortable life after a well-off couple adopted him. He is educated, refined, and has a beautiful and desirable wife, Sheila--played by Beauty.

His life seems to be perfect, however, he felt like a part of him was missing. Nate feels love from his adoptive mom but his dad is very tough on him growing up and until now. Hence, he always ends up just saying "yes" and doing whatever his dad says.

With this, Nate wishes he was someone else and, true enough, his life changes when he finds out that he has a twin brother named Michael, who will be also played by Dingdong.

With this, Beauty wishes AlterNate to have a second run. The same goes with her previous mini-series Loving Miss Bridgette.

She shared during AlterNate's virtual mediacon on January 3, "Actually, nabitin talaga ako sa show namin. Also sana magka-Book 2 rin 'yung Loving Miss Bridgette which I am so proud of that show also kasi that is my first show with GMA and it did well."

Beauty added that AlterNate tackles different facets which makes it worth watching.

She went on, "And I am very confident about AlterNate also. It will be amazing and people will talk about it kasi it's a very intelligent show, very different from the usual and ang dami kasing ipinapakita: may drama, may suspense, may romance, may action, and I'm very happy with everyone, especially, the staff behind the camera.

"Actually, I get excited kapag maganda talaga 'yung script e. It doesn't really matter kung mahaba 'yung istorya or not."

AlterNate premieres Monday, January 10, at 8:50 p.m. on GMA Telebabad. It will also air on GTV, Monday to Thursday at 11:30 p.m., and Friday at 11:45 p.m.

It also stars Ricky Davao, Jackie Lou Blanco, and Joyce Ching. Actors Bryan Benedict, Yan Yuzon, and Jude Gonzalez, on the other hand, have special participation in the I Can See You series.
