iBilib School is Cool tour

'iBilib goes to different schools in the 'School is Cool' tour.

GMA's science and learning show iBilib is making rounds in different schools to connect with the youth, students, and teachers through the "School is Cool" tour.

Award-winning host Chris Tiu and Sparkle star Zonia Mejia headed over to Esteban Abada Elementary School in Quezon City recently for the first leg of the tour.

“Meron tayong games, experiments, siyempre katulad ng mga ginagawa natin sa iBilib,” Chris said in an online exclusive video.

He added, “Importante ay maka-connect kami with the students. and also para mas makilala nila ang programang iBilib na umeere sa GMA every Sunday morning.”

Chris also said that they wanted to reintroduce iBilib to teachers and students as a science program that may be useful to their curriculum.

“Meron kasi tayong mga bagong materyal sa programa natin, 'yung 'iBilib featuring All the Answers' kung saan marami tayong mga trivia and mga features about anything and everything under the sun,” he added.

“I think this is something that's very fitting sa mga kabataan ngayon kasi iba na rin ang kanilang paraan ng panonood ng TV, kung ano ang nakaka-catch ng kanilang interest so kailangan nag-e-evolve din tayo, kailangan nag-i-innovate din ang 'iBilib' para maganda ang visuals ng mga fini-feature natin,” he continued.

Aside from the fun games and experiments, iBilib also gave gifts to the students. They received sets of school supplies, while books for kids were also donated to the school's library.

Make your Sunday mornings a fun learning habit on iBilib, 9:35 a.m., on GMA.
