Procedure:

 
1. In a bowl, combine water, flour and cornstarch. Mix well.


 
2. Season tawilis with salt and black pepper then put in the batter.


 
3. Heat oil in a frying pan, deep-fry tawilis until golden brown, drain on paper towels.


 
4. In a stockpot, heat oil, saute onion, garlic, add hibi and stir-fry. Add fish sauce, salt and black pepper.


 
5. Let it boil, add patola and simmer until patola are cooked.


 
6. Add misua noodles and simmer. Serve with crispy tawilis.
