Therese Malvar captured the attention of netizens after her mom, Cherry Malvar and GMA Artist Center shared stolen photos of the young actress doing her school work while at the set of Inagaw Na Bituin.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Therese shares why she prefers to study and pursue her career at the same time.
Despite Therese's busy schedule at work, she still opted to enroll at a regular school. That also meant no special considerations for the young Kapuso star.
She shared, “I try to keep up with the lessons and homework I missed with the help of both my classmates and friends. So kahit absent ako, I still do what is given. I make it up to my grades by trying to perform well in tests. Thankfully, I have been Rank 1 in class the last sem. Hopefully, this semester as well."

“I don't know how I balance my work and academics because I'm not good with managing many tasks. But I just find motivation from my classmates and friends to do my school work while being at work or taping. And I'm grateful for my education so I'd like to give it my all for both my studies and work,” Therese said.
