The Saturday episode of It's Showtime is extra special as the hosts celebrated the birthday of Jhong Hilario.

At the start of the program, Jhong's fellow co-stars in the Kapamilya noontime show shared their heartwarming birthday messages for him.

Tiyang Amy Perez stated on It's Showtime that Jhong is a source of strength for all of them during difficult times.

She explained, “We love you, thank you for always being our strength sa mga times na alam mo na may mga pinagdadaanan tayo. Pero iba si Jhong, you're so sweet, you are so kind. Marami ka natutulungan.”

“And ako personally, gusto ko malaman mo na mahal na mahal kita. Alam mo yan. And always, always nandito lang si Tiyang for you, Happy birthday!”

For his part, OPM icon Ogie Alcasid is glad that he got to know the real Jhong Hilario off-camera.

“Alam mo natutuwa ako na nakilala ko si Jhong dito. Siyempre kilala natin siya magaling sumayaw, magaling mag-host. Magaling na lider, pero nakilala ko 'yung totoong siya,” Ogie noted.

“Napakabait, napakalaki ng puso. Sobrang giving sa mga pagkakataon na na-guest ka sa mga shows ko na walang bayad. Maraming salamat.”

Meanwhile, Ion Perez recalled his bonding moment with the birthday boy, when they were teammates in "Magpasikat".

Ion remembered, “Sana patuloy ka na maging malakas, tsaka Kuya Jhong maraming salamat sa mga guide mo sa akin sa araw-araw. Nung magkakampi tayo sa Magpasikat, maraming-maraming salamat sa pag-push sa akin na kaya ko pala.”

Jhong also took the opportunity to express his appreciation for the love he received from his It's Showtime family.

“Mahal na mahal na mahal ko rin kayo bilang pamilya dito sa Showtime. Sa inyong lahat, Madlang People, maraming salamat, Showtime family thank you.”
