Current reigning Miss Universe Philippines Ahtisa Manalo is set to represent the country in the 2025 Miss Universe pageant this November, and she is calling on Filipino pageant fans to show their support.
Ahtisa recently made an appearance on It's Showtime, where she invited everyone to join in her Miss Universe journey, as well as giving the gathered audience a sample of her pageant walk.
“Sana po ay panoorin ninyo ang coronation namin on November 21, live from Bangkok, Thailand,” she said.
Ahtisa's It's Showtime guesting comes after her return from Bangkok, Thailand, where she hosted the Mister International pageant and saw current reigning Mister International Kirk Bondad win the crown.
Ahtisa won the Miss Universe Philippines crown back in May, thanks to her response to the question, “they say that a good leader leads by example. Tell us about one event in your life when you led by example and the impact it made.”
Ahtisa's response was “I fell a while ago at stage, and the thing with me is whenever I fall in life, I always make sure I come back stronger. Last year, I was here on this stage and for the second time this year, I'm here putting everything on this stage to be Miss Universe Philippines, because this is mine and my grandmother's shared dream, and she passed away early this year.”
Since her win, Ahtisa has met with H.E. Ambassador Makawadee Sumitmor and Thai Embassy officials during their visit to Republic Asia's media company offices in Intramuros, Manila.
In the caption to the post by the Miss Universe Philippines Instagram account, Ahtisa was accompanied by Mister Pilipinas Eco International 2025 Kitt Cortez and Special Envoy of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Thailand Bran Reluao. The trio also accompanied the Thai officials on a tour of Intramuros.
