Ang masarap na Ilokano fare, may bagong look at twist.
INGREDIENTS:
500 grams bagnet
¼ pc kalabasa, boiled
½ cup milk
1 tsp nutmeg
¼ cup bagoong
3 cloves garlic
4 pcs tomatoes, diced
1 thumb ginger, sliced
1 pc white onion
1 pc ampalaya, sliced
6 pcs okra
½ cup sitaw, sliced into 3-inch segments
2 tbsp oil
PROCEDURE:
1.Heat pan and oil then sauté onion, garlic, ginger and tomatoes until lightly caramelized. Add bagoong and continue to cook for 3 minutes, then add bagnet.
2.Blanch ampalaya, okra and sitaw.
3.Mash kalabasa, milk and nutmeg then serve with bagnet and blanched vegetables.
