Inialok daw kay Alice Dixson ang 'Legal Wives' nang makasabay niya sa bakasyon sina Suzette Doctolero at Aloy Adlawan.

Personal daw inialok ng creative director na si Aloy Adlawan at concept creator at headwriter na si Suzette Doctolero ang seryeng Legal Wives kay Alice Dixson.

Nangyari ang impromptu pitch ng dalawa sa aktres nang magkasabay silang magbakasyon at bumisita sa isang common friend.

"Nagbakasyon ako sa Dumaguete at nagkataon kasabay ko sila magbakasyon kasi mutual friends namin si Nadia Montenegro. We went to one place together on a boat. We were on a boat together, Suzette and Aloy asked me. 'We have a project for you. Can we pitch it?' Wow, out of nowhere our paths crossed, and then 'yun. I said 'Okay, pitch,'" kuwento ni Alice sa isang virtual interview.

Na-intriga daw siya sa konsepto at sa kuwento kaya agad siyang napapayag.

"Kinuwento nila 'yung very rough draft ng teleserye na 'to. Na-intriga ako. This was over two years ago na, hindi pa buo 'yung cast. I said, I'll do it. I'll do it because I like the concept. Iba siya talaga," paggunita ni Alice.

At hindi daw niya pinagsisihan ang kanyang flash decision nang makita na niya ang mga makakatrabaho niya.

"Later on, nabuo na 'yung cast and natuwa ako because you could see that they really put good thought into it. Wala pa kaming direktor noon. But eventually, it became such a huge project that hindi ko talaga pinagsisisihan. I think it was fate. I'm so happy that I'm a part of the show," lahad ng aktres.

Sa simula ng proyekto, looking forward daw mag-shoot sa Mindanao si Alice kaya pinanghihinayangan niyang hindi ito natuloy.

"At that time kasi they were still thinking that we're gonna shoot this in the south para maging authentic talaga 'yung teleserye. But becuase of what happened with the pandemic, hindi na kami nag-fly. Hindi na kami lumayo sa Manila,"

Gayunpaman, sinikap pa rin daw ng produksyon na maging authentic para maganda ang kalabasan ng show.

"But honestly, production gave it such an authentic feel--from our set design to our costumes and our location--you'll really feel na you're in the south," aniya.

Ang Legal Wives ay kuwento ng isang kakaibang pamilya kung saan pakakasalan ng isang lalaki ang tatlong magkakaibang babae dahil sa iba't ibang mabibigat na dahilan.

Gaganap dito si Alice bilang Amirah, ang unang asawa ni Ismael na gagampanan ni Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo.

Kasama rin niya sa serye sina Andrea Torres, Bianca Umali at marami pang iba.

Huwag palampasin ang world premiere ng Legal Wives, July 26, pagkatapos ng The World Between Us sa GMA Telebabad.
