Facts:

Trixie Engano and her friends decided to gatecrash the beach party of Inno de Leon.

Trixie and Inno were in a relationship, but the latter decided to end it. Inno told Trixie and her friends to leave his party but she insisted on staying.

Both intoxicated, Trixie and Inno ended up spending the night in one of the rooms of the beach resort.

In the morning, Trixie woke up naked and alone. 

Trixie went home shocked and distraught. She told her parents, Ramir and Patricia, that she was raped by Inno. Her parents decided to take her to the hospital. But according to the Medico Legal's findings there was no clear evidence of blunt force or penetrating trauma that could mean she was raped.

Trixie then insisted that she was raped thus the Engano family filed a case against Inno. 

Inno was arrested but pleaded not guilty. 

Inno testified that during the party, Trixie insisted on going to his room. He admitted that they had sexual relations but emphasized that it was consensual. He firmly stated that he did not rape Trixie.
