As the successful historical Korean drama continues, Hong Sam-nom becomes an official eunuch and builds relationships with the people in the palace.

One of her staple friends is Kim Yoon-sung who always ends up saving her from having a bad day. In one of their meet-ups, he takes Hong Sam-nom to his relaxing spot and allowed her to rest for a moment.

As Hong Sam-nom helps out Sookui Park, she and Kim Byung-yeon discovers the King's empty letters had a hidden message on them asking her to meet up secretly.

On the other hand, Lee-yeong reveals to Hong Sam-nom his real identity of being the Crown Prince. At first, she didn't believe it but eventually, she realizes and apologizes to him. Instead of giving her punishment, Lee-yeong offers friendship in return.

After finding out Lee-yeong's real identity, Hong Sam-nom became more respectful to the Crown Prince. The Crown Prince admits he didn't want Hong Sam-nom to change the way he treats him that's why he did not reveal his identity before. The two reached an understanding to act like friends whenever they were alone together.

The festivities continue in the palace and Crown Prince Lee-yeong gets ready to prepare for his father's party. As he spearheads the performance, Hong Sam-nom teaches him how to calm down with dealing with other people who made mistakes.

After helping out the Crown Prince with the choreography, Hong Sam-nom is surprised to find out she slept at Lee-yeong's chambers and immediately tries to sneak out. After hearing Hong Sam-nom's hiccups and thinking it was the Prince's new signal, the head eunuch tries to enter the room but Lee-yeong wakes up and stops them immediately.

At the party, Prime Minister Kim tries to sabotage Crown Prince Lee-yeong's performance by paying the main dancer to flee. Hong Sam-nom decides to become a girl for the night and help the Crown Prince by performing the dance steps. She succeeds and Lee-yeong tries to look for her. Almost getting caught, Kim Yoon-sung saves her and reveals he knows her secret all this time.

With Hong Sam-nom being the only person to know the entire choreography, Crown Prince Lee-yeong suspects it was her who saved him but couldn't put the pieces together since she is portraying herself as a man.

During her day off, Hong Sam-nom goes out to celebrate a feast and finds Crown Prince Lee-yeong wandering the streets. The two spend time together in festivities.

The Crown Prince reveals to Hong Sam-nom that when he stares into her eyes, he sees the girl who performed during the party. Adamant to answer back, Kim Yoon-sung saves her again by interrupting their conversation. He tries to steal Hong Sam-nom away from the Crown Prince but Lee-yeong did not agree.
