Kapuso actor Khalil Ramos admitted that he auditioned for his role in GMA Telebabad's upcoming mystery-romance miniseries Love You Stranger.

After GMA Pinoy TV's FunCon on May 27, Khalil reminisced how he felt when he first read the script of the show.

"Naalala ko 'yung very moment, actually audition 'yun, e. So, hindi kami hand-picked, hindi siya binigay sa amin but we auditioned for the role. And that was my very first audition for a series sa GMA," he looked back.

"When I was handed the script, hindi full script, one scene [lang] for our audition, nagulat agad ako kasi you don't come across this type of role very often. Hindi siya lagi nating nakikita dahil hindi siya common na i-portray para sa mga manonood na bigyan ng glimpse 'yung isang film set.

"I remember after that audition, talagang 'yung feeling ko, talagang yung pakiramdam ko, una ko agad naisip, 'Oh my God, I want this role.'"

In Love You Stranger, Ben portrays a young, up-and-coming director named Ben who will go to the mysterious town of Sta. Castella to shoot his new movie.

Although Khalil has already portrayed a production assistant in a movie, Love You Stranger still hit differently for him especially he has been pursuing his hobby of filmmaking.

"I want to portray this role, hindi lang dahil malapit siya sa puso ko bilang ako din, nagdi-direct din sa totoong buhay, pero dahil gusto ko rin mabigyan 'yung audience ng kakaibang experience dahil very unique nga siya, e."
