On March 17, 1995, Flor Contemplacion, an Overseas Filipino Worker, was convicted and then executed for the murder of a child and a fellow OFW, Delia Maga, in Singapore. After 16 years, the Contemplacion family would suffer again as Flor's children, Sandrex (Banjo Romero), and twins Jonjon (Oscar Salva) and Joel (Kenneth Salva) were convicted of selling drugs. What's worse is that her husband Efren (Roy Alvarez), was also arrested for the same crime. All of these will cause Flor's daughter Russel (Alessandra de Rossi) to suffer from her family's burden. Will she be able to overcome these hurdles?
