Why David Licauco and Barbie Forteza's 'FiLay' is the loveteam to watch

Not only did the hit fantasy-portal series Maria Clara at Ibarra give viewers some of the best scenes, acting, and lessons in life, it also gave them one of the hottest love teams on TV today, FiLay, or the loveteam of Fidel and Klay.
In the reimagined version of Jose Rizal's thought-provoking works 'Noli Me Tangere' and 'El Filibusterismo,' Klay gets transported into the story and met the characters of the novels. One of those characters is the businessman and friend of Crisostomo Ibarra (Dennis Trillo), Fidel, played by David Licauco.
As the story progressed, fans started seeing the chemistry between the two, especially during intense argument scene in which fans noticed their potential as an onscreen couple. Because of this, many viewers started shipping them together, and thus, paving the way for the rise of the FiLay love team.
