Will netizens have a "FiLay" love team as Klay and Fidel continue on with their undeniable onscreen chemistry?
Maria Clara at Ibarra continues to wow netizens with the unique storyline and the versatile actors included in the series. In last night's episode, fans of the series were treated to a cute, 'kulitan' scene between Klay and Fidel that they started shipping the two and calling them the 'FiLay' love team.
Klay, portrayed by Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza, is a nursing student who, while working toward her goal of graduating and earning for her family, was transported into the world of Noli Me Tangere, the novel by Dr. Jose Rizal.
Fidel, portrayed by David Licauco, is an Ilustrado and friend of Crisostomo Ibarra who met Klay when Crisostomo brought her to lunch with them. From there, the interaction between the characters started which the netizens didn't fail to notice.LINK:
Some netizens and fans noted how Klay and Fidel have chemistry with each other.
“Ang unexpected ng hatak ng ship na ito. Kainis! Ok na nga ako sa Kdramas e tapos biglang KLAY! FIDEL! ANO BA,” one netizen commented.
“Nababaliw ako kay Fidel at Klay huhuhu FiLay forever,” another one said.
“Kinikilig ako sa pangungulit ni Fidel kay Klay,” one netizen commented.
Another netizen also said how they had to pause watching K-dramas or Korean dramas just to watch the two of them, and hoped that GMA continues with the development between the two characters.
Other netizens even expressed how they wanted to have Klay and a present version of Fidel come together once she returns in her own time.
