Dennis Trillo in Maria Clara at Ibarra


It's a wrap for Crisostomo Ibarra and Simoun. Take a bow, Dennis Trillo!

Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo bade goodbye to his character Simoun in Maria Clara at Ibarra on Tuesday, February 21.

The Maria Clara at Ibarra star took to Instagram to share the behind-the-scenes video of his last day of taping for the hit historical portal fantasy series.

In the video, the production team applauded Dennis as he ended his role as Simoun.

For GMA Network's Drama King, Maria Clara at Ibarra has been one of the most significant projects that he has ever been part of.

“Nais kong ibahagi ang mga kaganapan sa pagtatapos ng aking huling eksena, sa maituturing kong isa sa pinaka makabuluhan at importanteng proyektong kinabilangan ko,” he captioned in his post.

Dennis also expressed his gratitude to the people behind the beautiful masterpiece and to the supporters who have been with them since day one.

“Nais kong magpasalamat ng buong puso sa bawat tao ng naghirap para pagandahin ang programang ito, at siyempre walang tagumpay kung wala ang mga tumatangkilik. Salamat sa iyo, na minahal at nag laan ng oras para panoorin ang palabas, tenkyu🙏🤍 mahal ko kayo, hanggang sa muli,” he added.

Some of the cast of the said show including Rocco Nacino, Jon Lucas, Juancho Trivino, and Julie Anne San Jose sent their congratulatory messages for their co-star Dennis.

“Napakagaling brother! Honor to always work with you! Congrats bro @dennistrillo!” @nacinorocco wrote.

“Salud 🙌🙌🙌” @myjaps commented.

Maria Clara at Ibarra will have its finale on Friday, February 24 and will be replaced by Mga Lihim ni Urduja which will star the Jewels of Primetime, Kylie Padilla, Gabbi Garcia, and Sanya Lopez.
