DJ Loonyo, whose real name is Rhemuel Lunio, talked about his new single “Sakin Ka Na Lang” during his latest guest appearance on Mars Pa More.

When asked by hosts Iya Villania and Camille Prats about the inspiration behind the siong, DJ Loonyo replied, “Actually, wala naman talaga siyang inspiration na ano, e… or parang pinaparinggan.

He also thanked his followers because the song is now trending on TikTok.

Plus, he encouraged everyone who haven't tried it, to do so.

DJ Loonyo also joined the dance party of Mars Pa More hosts Iya and Camille and former Universal Motion Dancers (UMD) member Jim Salas.

You can watch them breakdown the steps to the '90s hit song "Always" by Erasure in the video below.

DJ Loonyo also shared his creative process in choosing dance steps and songs for his dance challenges.

He emphasized that execution is always more important than the steps when it comes to dancing.

“Let's say for example, paulit-ulit 'yung galaw pero 'yung intention mo and 'yung execution mo is bumabagay sa kanta, 'yun 'yung nagpapaganda naman talaga.”

He then explained how the “kilig” feeling is essential when he's doing his dance challenges.

“So, 'pag kinikilig ako sa kantang 'yan, for sure kikiligin din 'yung sasayaw niyan. parang 'yun 'yung parati kong mindset.

And speaking of cooking, DJ Loonyo also shared his adobo recipe with a twist.
