If you remember, the hunk actor was last seen in the giant primetime series Mulawin VS Ravena.

In his interview with the press during MGP's media conference, he talked about the challenges of doing this new show.

“It’s a different challenge. I don’t mind, basta quality ‘yung role at magaling ‘yung mga kasama, I don’t mind.”

He added that he completely trust the decision of GMA-7 to put him in this time slot.

Kiko explained, “At may compromise naman sa TV. Kahit ano'ng time slot, kung ano ‘yung ibinigay nila just respect that kasi ‘yun ‘yung feeling nila bagay sa iyo.”

“So, I respect GMA’s decision to put me in this time slot to see if you know this team up with Julie (Julie Anne San Jose) and Gil (Cuerva) would work and I respect that.”

He also expressed how proud he is that his father, Gary Estrada, is doing well in his new Kapuso afternoon soap The Stepdaughters starring Megan Young, Katrina Halili, and Mikael Daez.

“I hope si papa he’s doing very well dun sa [The] Stepdaughters niya. I want to congratulate him, kasi nai-stress na siya (laughs). Alam mo na ‘yun si papa hindi na sanay na mapuyat and nagkakasabay kami ng taping, dumadalaw ako sa kaniya.”
