
The high-rating and viral GMA Prime series My Ilonggo Girl is down now on its last few episodes.
After taking us in an incredible and kilig journey, the lead stars Jillian Ward and Michael Sager talked to 24 Oras to share what they will miss most about their show.
Jillian stated that My Ilonggo Girl is an 'unforgettable' project: “Hindi namin makakalimutan, kasi, ako po personally sobrang nag-enjoy ako making this project.”
She continued, “Coming from a show na drama po talaga, naenjoy ko po 'yung pagiging funny ng characters na romcom siya.”
Sparkle leading man Michael Sager told 24 Oras that he established a strong bond with Jill, their cast mates, and even the production team of the romcom series.
“Somehow nalulungkot talaga ako, kasi 'yung attachment ko with the show, with the prod. With my castmates, of course with Jill.” the Sparkada member said.
“Ninanamnam at chini-cherish ko na 'yung mga moments namin sa set.”
Dubbed by 'MicJill' by their fans, Jillian and Michael discussed a specific dramatic scene that they shot on their last taping day that viewers should watch for in their finale.
“Yung iyak namin is ano na [totoo na], parang malapit siya sa real life scenario namin.” Jillian noted.
Michael then added, “ I was looking into Jill's eye and naramdaman ko talaga na icherish ko na 'tong moments na 'to. It's my way of parang saying thank you 'yung attachment ko with her, with the show it's very, very solid.”
