Kim Soo Hyun is also known for his roles in The Moon Embracing The Sun, Dream High, and The Producers.

The actor from the original Koreanovela My Love From The Star is currently in the Philippines for Samsung's private event. 

Kim Soo Hyun portrayed Do Min Joon (or Matteo Do in the Philippines,) an alien who landed on Earth during the Joseon Dynasty in Korea. Destined to go back to his planet after 300 years, he then meets a well-known actress named Cheon Song Yi (Steffi Cheon in the Philippines) and their encounter made him doubt his plans to go back home.

On the other hand, My Love From The Star's Philippine remake, starring Jennylyn Mercado as Steffi and Gil Cuerva as Matteo, will be airing in GMA on May 29.
