Madalas hanapin ni Steffi Cheon ang pagkaing chicken and beer. Ito rin ang kanyang comfort food pag nai-stress siya.

What makes chicken and beer so special to Steffi?

In My Love from the Star, every time it snows, Steffi remembers the times when she’s with her dad.

Bata pa lang siya, lagi niya na itong nakakasama. At tuwing nag-i-snow, pinapasalubungan si Steffi ng kanyang ama ng chicken and beer. They bond while eating it, although Steffi was not yet allowed to drink beer at that time because she was too young.

Hindi na nakakasama ni Steffi ang kanyang mahal na ama ngayon. Umalis ito sa kanilang bahay noong bata pa lang siya. Lubhang ikinalungkot ito ni Steffi.

Pero naiibsan ang kanyang pangungulila tuwing kakain siya ng chicken and beer.  Nanunumbalik sa kanyang alaala ang pinagsamahan nilang dalawa.

Steffi misses her dad. He’s the one she opens up to in times of trouble. And now, that he’s not by her side, life became difficult for her. She tries to be strong thinking how her father used to uplift her spirits. Chicken and beer made her feel that her father is just around – that his presence is there.

Hindi lang masarap ang pagkain ng chicken and beer. Ito ang alaala ng pagmamahal ng isang ama. At dito humuhugot ng lakas si Steffi Cheon.

Sa dami ng kinakaharap niyang problema sa pagkamatay ng kanyang rival na si Rachel Han, matutulungan ba siya ng paborito niyang pagkain para makalimutan ang pagsubok sa kanyang buhay? Maibabalik din kaya nito ang kanyang ama?
