LOOK: 'Pepito Manaloto' cast and their taping adjustment during the pandemic

Saturday night viewing will definitely be a little sad after the lead stars of 'Pepito Manaloto' announced its season break on May 25, 2020.
Just like many shows, the flagship sitcom of GMA-7 had to stop shooting for several months beginning March 2020 due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
It was only in September of the same year that the sitcom began taping again albeit following strict health protocol imposed by the government to keep everyone safe from the deadly virus.
In a statement given by Direk Michael V. to GMANetwork.com, the season break will be a great opportunity for him to generate new ideas for the sitcom, once they return on air.
He explained, “So, malaki ang maitutulong niya bilang pahinga. 'Pag ako nagpapahinga, doon lumalabas 'yung mga ideas, so this will be a great time to come up with new ideas, not just for the show. Siguro for other things I can do as an actor.”
Michael serves as the creative director of the show, while Bert de Leon is the director.
