'Pulang Araw' stars Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, Rochelle Pangilinan, and Jay Ortega, and some members of its creative team gave a masterclass to communication arts students from different schools at UST Angelicum College last November 14.

Stars of GMA Prime series Pulang Araw went on a campus tour in UST Angelicum College in Quezon City on Thursday, November 14.

Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, Rochelle Pangilinan, and Jay Ortega visited the education institution for the 2nd UST AngeliCOMM Masterclass, "Ang Salaysay ng Pulang Araw," alongside its director Dominic Zapata, program manager Edlyn Tallada, production designer Egay Littaua, among others.

The cast members led a panel discussion on Pulang Araw's storytelling, character development, production challenges, and themes.

The event, attended by 156 students from seven schools, gave participants a behind-the-scenes look at the series, and a chance to interact with its stars and creative team.

Pulang Araw is a family drama that tells stories of courage, sacrifice, and hardships that every Filipino family has. These stories were inspired by the tales of the unsung heroes who defied the odds of World War II and the Japanese occupation of the Philippines.

Also part of its main cast are Sanya Lopez, Alden Richards, and Dennis Trillo in a very special role.

A primetime offering of GMA Entertainment Group, Pulang Araw is written by award-winning writer Suzette Doctolero.

The series airs weekdays, 8:00 p.m., on GMA. It also has a replay on GTV at 9:40 p.m.
