Angellie Sanoy pays tribute to comfort women in 'Pulang Araw'

Actress Angellie Sanoy is evolving from a child star to a drama actress.
She began her acting career in 2009 after playing the role of young Narda in the TV series 'Darna' along with Marian Rivera.
Currently, she plays the role of Lorena, a comfort woman from World War II.
In a recent update, Angellie showed behind-the-scenes moments from 'Pulang Araw's taping.
"Mahirap at masakit panoorin ang Pulang Araw ngunit ito ang katotohanan na dapat malaman ng mga tao. Mahigpit na yakap sa mga kababaihan na nakaranas ng paghihirap noong panahon ng mga hapon," she wrote.
Angellie also took pictures with the other ladies in the cast, including Sanya Lopez, Rochelle Pangilinan, and Ashley Ortega.
