There's no doubt why Dingdong Dantes is one of the most respected actors in the industry. B&B (Bed and breakfast) owner An Alcantara, who was impressed by the actor's kindness and humbleness, is one of the living witnesses of this.

On the Facebook page of Casa San Pablo, An recalled the first time she and her husband met the actor. It was during the filming of Dingdong's new series, Royal Blood, in their B&B.

"The world stopped a bit when he sat down to join us. Since the crack of dawn, the GMA-7 crew had turned our B&B into a teleserye set with an army of a hundred production people taking over the gardens. To keep away from the frenzy outside, Boots and I ducked into our cafe for a slow breakfast. Then Dingdong joined us," she shared.

Furthermore, despite the fact that Dingdong is the star of this murder mystery drama, An said that he appeared to be unconscious of it since he just seemed interested in, of all the things, the lives of the innkeepers.

"We talked about challenges we faced, he offered solutions that he thought could work for us (many of which he had tried himself). He was genuinely concerned, eager to help, yet polite and self-effacing.

"Then we talked about common friends and advocacies. Consistently, he deftly turned the attention on us instead of himself. If he wasn't so distractingly handsome, we could have forgotten which one of us was the celebrity. What a genuinely nice guy," An said.
