As the whole country experiencing what could be the harshest summer season, GMA Network and SBS Korea will be bringing the winter experience on primetime beginning May 11 and May 12 with the grand premiere of Running Man Philippines season 2.
Mikael Daez, Glaiza De Castro, Miguel Tanfelix, Lexi Gonzales, Buboy Villar, Kokoy de Santos, and the first Ultimate Runner Angel Guardian will be competing in bigger and crazier missions with the new season shot during the middle of the winter season in South Korea.
Glaiza a.k.a Boss G told 24 Oras why the second season will be a whole lot different from the one they shot back in 2022.
She explained, “Napaka-init sa atin parang masaya na may makikita silang lugar na malamig.
“Marami pa po kaming mga bagong missions na ginawa, ibang-iba 'to dun sa summer season, kasi, this time mas malamig, mas challenging 'yung mga missions.”
After the more than a month-long shoot in South Korea, Glaiza stayed in the country together with her husband David Rainey to do a bit of exploring.
The Sparkle versatile actress wanted David to get a taste of what she and her other co-Runners experienced there.
“Since nakapanood na rin naman siya ng Running Man [Philippines] season one, gusto ko rin makita niya rin 'yung mga pinuntahan namin, kung ano 'yung South Korea.” The Kapuso star said.
“And very sanay siya sa malamig na lugar, so walang problema sa kaniya 'yung winter.”
Glaiza De Castro and David Rainey first exchanged “I Do's” in October 2021 in Northern Ireland and in January 2023. They tied the knot for the second time at the Sundowners Beach Resort in Botolan, Zambales in a Filipiniana-themed wedding.
Don't miss the K-saya episodes of Running Man Philippines every Saturday and Sunday at 7:15 p.m. only here on GMA-7 beginning May 11.
