Need to cool down from this excessive heat? Catch the winter wonderland extravaganza on 'Running Man Philippines' beginning May 11 and 12!

We are just a week away from the “K-tastic” comeback of audience favorite and high-rating reality game show on Philippine TV!

Beginning May 11 and 12, Running Man Philippines will take the whole country to a winter wonderland adventure. The second season will also feature some of the biggest names in South Korea and in the Philippines as the show's special celebrity guests.

GMA Network released a web exclusive "The Making" video of Running Man Philippines today, May 3, that gave a sneak peek on how the new season was shot and produced.

Many fans are wondering whether there will be a repeat of some of the viral missions and races that happened in season one in the winter edition of the show.

Pinoy Runners Buboy Villar and Kokoy De Santos shared that everyone should expect brand-new missions and challenges.

Walang umulit!” Kokoy added.

He continued, “As in wala talaga, as in lahat bago as in fresh, brand new.”

In the same web exclusive video, Cheol Ho An, the executive producer of the Korean Team of Running Man Philippines talked about the challenges the Pinoy Runners had to endure, shooting in frigid temperatures during the winter season in Korea.

He shared, “When we were producing season two, we were actually very worried, as we were doing this in the winter season.

“It was so cold that I wondered how our Filipino Runners could endure it in Korea. But to distinguish season 1 from season 2, winter would be better.”

For his part, Rico Gutierrez, the director of Running Man Philippines noted that the locations that will be featured in season two is a must-watch for everyone.

“Kasi kakaiba ang mga location namin ngayon. Iba rin ang ginawa ng mga Runners kasi bilang tropical country tayo, iba 'yung lamig na naranasan dito ng Runners.”
