The Running Man Philippine stars brought their signature energy and “K-saya” vibe when they appeared last Saturday (May 4) on It's Showtime.
All the Runners, namely, Mikael Daez, Glaiza De Castro, Miguel Tanfelix, Lexi Gonzales, Buboy Villar, Kokoy De Santos, and Angel Guardian were present to greet all the It's Showtime viewers and encourage everyone to support the pilot episode of the hit reality game show on May 11 and May 12, a historic collaboration between GMA Network and SBS Korea.
Talking about collaboration, Mikael and Glaiza were asked by the members of the press during the grand media conference held last Saturday on what it was like promoting a Kapuso show in the longest-running Kapamilya noontime program?
Mikael considers this opportunity to promote in an ABS-CBN show as a stepping stone that will hopefully usher in more collaborations between the artists of the two media giants in the future.
He explained, “I've always been very friendly and siyempre marami na rin ako nakilalang friends ng asawa ko [Megan Young] dun sa ABS-CBN, so, para sa akin to see that everyone collaborating now and ang dami rin collaboration shows na ginagawa na drama, comedy. Maybe also reality game shows like Running Man. Nakakatuwa and exciting kasi ang dami mo naiisip na possibilities 'd iba.”
Versatile TV-movie actress Glaiza De Castro thinks that fans of It's Showtime had a “surreal” moment seeing several Kapuso artists stepping inside an ABS-CBN studio.
“Nakita rin nila parang ang saya lang din and we are thankful na that we are able to promote our show there.
And it's also nice to know that they are watching our show that they are interested na makapag-guest din dito. And same din sa amin, so parang ang saya lang na ang daming posibilidad sa ngayon,” she added.
Don't miss the “K-tastic” episodes of Running Man Philippines every Saturday and Sunday at 7:15 p.m. only here on GMA-7.
