Gabbi Garcia kung bakit napa-oo sa 'SLAY': 'Because it's a collaboration with Viu [Original] and GMA. It's a murder mystery. And, also we have an all-women cast."
Honored at thankful si Gabbi Garcia na napasama sa cast ng pinakabagong murder mystery series na SLAY.
Sa naganap na media conference ng Viu para sa SLAY, sinabi ni Gabbi ang ilang dahilan kung bakit napa-oo siya sa show.
"Because it's a collaboration with Viu [Original] and GMA, it hit two audiences at the same time. And it's the first time we'll be having a different attack on GMA viewers and a different attack also on Viu viewers," sabi ng aktres.
Ang SLAY ang kauna-unahang Viu Original ng GMA. Ito rin ang unang pagkakataon na magkakaroon ng magkaibang point of views ang kuwento sa GMA at Viu Original.
Dagdag pa ni Gabbi, "Also, because it's a murder mystery. It's such an honor to be part of a murder mystery produced by, of course, GMA and Viu because we have so many great murder mysteries, and to be part of something I'm pretty sure na magiging hit 'to because it's a murder mystery, of course, by Mr. RJ Nuevas and all of the creatives ng GMA.
"And, also we have an all-women cast. Isa rin 'yon sa nagpapayag sa akin because the four leading ladies are just so powerful. Talagang sabi nga ni Mikee [Quintos] noong story [conference] magpagalingan tayo, and I feel like it's such a non-toxic, healthy competition. We lift each other up, we support each other."
Makakasama ni Gabbi sa lead cast sina Mikee Quintos, Ysabel Ortega, at Julie Anne San Jose.
Ani Gabbi, ito ang unang pagkakataon na bibida siya sa isang murder mystery series, kung saan may pagka-anti hero rin ang kanyang gagampanang karakter na si Amelie.
"In the acting side naman, it's also very different. I'm used to roles na hindi anti-hero, pero medyo anti-hero rin ako rito. It's nice to explore, it's nice to see more options for characters.
"I'm very happy to be working with Viu once again for this project, and, of course, sa Sparkle and GMA."
Makakasama rin ni Gabbi sa SLAY ang Kapuso hunk actors na sina Derrick Monasterio at Royce Cabrera.
Ilan pa sa mahuhusay na artista na bubuo sa SLAY ay sina James Blanco, Tina Paner, Matet de Leon, Bernard Palanca, Phoemela Baranda, Chuckie Dreyfus, Simon Ibarra, Jay Ortega, at Gil Cuerva.
Mapapanood na ang SLAY sa Viu Original simula March 3 at GMA Prime sa March 24.
