"Kung ako papipiliin, bagay po talaga sila," says Vanessa Peña about her '#LikeForLike' co-stars Zephanie and Michael Sager.
Kapuso actresses Roxie Smith and Vanessa Peña only have one thing to say about Zephanie and Michael Sager's sweetness behind the camera, "Sana all!"
Roxie and Vanessa are part of "#LikeForLike," the first story of GMA Network's newest youth-anthology series Sparkle U, topbilled by Shayne Sava and Abdul Raman. Zephanie, Michael, Anjay Anson, Lauren King, and Princess Aliyah are also part of "#LikeForLike."
In an interview with GMANetwork.com at Keds Discover You event, Roxie and Vanessa talked about the apparent sweetness of Zephanie and Michael behind the scenes.
Roxie said, "Mapapa-'sana all' ka na lang sa set! Sorry, Michael and Zeph, pero ang sweet talaga nila, on- and off-cam. Mapapa-'sana all' ka na lang talaga kaya dapat abangan 'to ng mga ZephKhel fans, parang 'yung aktingan nila, hindi naman sila umaarte, parang sila talaga 'yun!"
Vanessa added, "Ako, ang masasabi ko lang is 'Sana all!'. 'Sana all' lang, 'yun lang masasabi ko.
"Well, si Michael at Zephanie, nakikita ko rin po kung paano sila magtrabaho together, and may chemistry po talaga sila, e. Kung ako papipiliin, bagay po talaga sila. 'Yun lang po 'yung masasabi ko, and sana all."
In Sparkle U's "#LikeForLike," Zephanie and Michael portray Sue and Marco, two ordinary, unknown teens that will suddenly become famous after rescuing the campus queen bee Yazzi (Roxie Smith) from a fire incident.
In her interview in Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Zephanie described Michael as her best friend, and one of the special persons in her life.
"Si Michael Sager po is my best friend and isa po siyang espesyal na tao sa buhay ko na siguro po marami siyang na-contribute sa happiness sa life ko," Zephanie joyfully said.
Tito Boy then asked, "He's a nice guy and he makes you happy. One to ten, ten is magkakaroon na kayo ng young love, nasaan ngayon si Michael Sager?"
She answered, "Siguro po mga five to seven... pwede rin pong ten."
Zephanie and Michael have been going on dates, the most recent of which was when they went to see the all-original Filipino musical Ang Huling El Bimbo.
