Glaiza De Castro shares the impact of dance, the significance of Stars on the Floor, and how it became an outlet for her during the difficult moments of this year.
In her social media post, Glaiza revealed that 2025 has been the hardest year.
"A CONTINUATION
"I'll be completely honest with you. The second part of this show meant a lot to me -- not just as a performer, but as a person.
"2025 has been the hardest year so far. I held on to hope that things would change… but they didn't. I lost someone I deeply loved, and the grief nearly broke me.
There were moments I wanted to quit. Some days I was okay, most days I wasn't.
But somewhere in that darkness, I met someone who profoundly understood grief."

Glaiza explained how dance became an outlet for her and helped her during difficult moments in her life.
"Dance suddenly became my outlet.
"The competition stopped being about the money or the spotlight -- it became about finding purpose. Each performance came from a place of sincerity built on hard days and silent battles. We danced with the intention to bring expression and versatility, grounded in the understanding that not everything meaningful can be measured by scores."

The Kapuso star shared messages to the coaches and her dance duo, JM Yrreverre.
"To the coaches we've had the honor to work with -- thank you. You helped us shape something real out of something heavy and for that, I'm incredibly grateful.
"And to my dance duo, your presence has meant so much to me.
You showed up not just with talent but with heart and an ability to make even the hardest days a little lighter. The silliness, inside jokes and quiet understanding -- it all made the weight bearable. You reminded me that even in the middle of pain, it's still okay to laugh and play.
You brought professionalism to every rehearsal but you also brought warmth -- and that balance made all the difference.
Even though I didn't get the wins during the first part, I experienced what winning truly felt like when we were paired up.
Thank you and I love you 🥹🫶🏻"
Glaiza announced that she will be ending the "dancerist" era this Saturday, October 18.
"My 'dancerist' era maybe coming to an end but this -- this is a closing chapter written with purpose and dignity.
