Glaiza De Castro and JM Yrreverre

Glaiza De Castro on 'Stars on the Floor' journey with JM Yrreverre: “We've fulfilled our purpose.”

Glaiza De Castro brought passion and purpose to every performance on her Stars on the Floor journey with JM Yrreverre.

The celebrity dance star took to Instagram to share a reel showcasing their preparation and rehearsals for both their opening production and finale performance. The video also captured their fun bonding moments with fellow dance stars.

“FINALE: Kapangyarihan,” she wrote, referring to the theme of their finale performance.

“Win or lose, our purpose has always been to leave a message and a mark as a duo. Not just to show what we can do, but to inspire the next artists who will stand on this stage. It's never just about winning, it's about the story you tell and the change you spark,” Glaiza shared.

Looking back at their journey, she admitted that she and JM experienced “highs and lows, wins and losses,” but they stayed “true to authenticity and structure” to inspire viewers through their performances.

She emphasized that the purpose of their finale performance was to empower Filipinos through dance.

“Going into the grand finale, we knew the judges already understood who we are. This time, with full creative freedom, it wasn't about being the flashiest. It was about using our art to speak, to empower, especially in times when many feel silenced. This performance was our statement that dance can move hearts and be a voice where words fall short.”

The Dream Star Duo chose to break barriers, believing that taking a stand matters more than staying silent.

“To every Filipino out there, this is for you. We'll never waste any platform to speak up through our art,” she dedicated.

Glaiza also expressed gratitude to their families, fans, and supporters for “believing, cheering, and carrying us through.”

“To our fellow dance stars, what a journey. Sixteen routines later, we made it together. Huge congratulations to the champions, it was a great fight,” she added.

She also gave a special shout-out to their coaches, thanking them for pushing the duo to grow and bring their best to life. Importantly, Glaiza recognized their finale coach, Coach Angel Datanagan, for turning their vision into something “powerful and real.”

“We'll always be grateful to have shared this piece with you,” she added.

Concluding her Stars on the Floor journey, Glaiza reflected, “We believe we've fulfilled our purpose: to be a light, to break barriers, to inspire, and to be a testament to what excellence truly is.”

“Hanggang sa huli, paa'y nasa lupa, mata'y nasa langit. Signing off, your Dream Star Duo -- Glaiza x JM.”
