The greatest singing battle is set to begin anew now that the top 30 contenders of the fifth season of the GMA musical competition, 'The Clash,' is now complete.

Thousands auditioned for the new season of the reality talent competition show, officially titled 'The Clash 2023,' and only the greatest of singers were chosen from across the country.

Aspiring Clashers were thoroughly screened by a panel of musically-inclined personalities which included 'The Clash' vocal coach and associate professor at the University of the Philippines College of Music and conductor of the UP Concert Chorus, Janet "Jai" Aracama, who has led the UPCC in major international tours and brought it into winning several choral competitions and awards garnering prestige both to the university and the country.

Indeed, the first step was already a tough row to hoe for the Top 30 so they should expect that a brand new challenge awaits them as they step on the most exciting and intriguing musical show on Philippine TV.
