
In his Instagram post on Monday (April 17), the Kapuso comedian went "ultra electro magnetic excited" as the groundbreaking GMA series will have its cinema run, dubbed as Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience, prior to its TV premiere.
It also bore pictures of Bitoy displaying his very first and rare Voltes 5 collectible pieces - die-cast Voltes 5 miniature robot from Bandai Godaikin and a sculpture by digital artist and animator, Megs Empinado, which resembles the super robot in the live-action adaptation of the popular mecha anime, Voltes V.
Michael V. also encouraged his fellow anime fans to share their favorite Voltes 5 pieces and expressed support for the theatrical screening of Voltes V: Legacy which will be shown in SM cinemas beginning April 19.
"Kayo, flex your favorite V5 piece sa IG tapos tag n'yo 'ko!” he wrote.

Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience features a special edit of the first three weeks of the live-action adaptation series.

It is an exclusive offering of GMA Entertainment Group, written by Suzette Doctolero and directed by Mark Reyes.
The program bears the potential of being the Philippines' first serious epic sci-fi TV show as it is partnered with Toei Company, Ltd., the same company that brought the robot saga to life, and its local licensor Telesuccess Productions, Inc.
GMA also engaged the services of Riot Inc. Post-Production along with GMA Post Video graphics to handle the CGI and the live-action elements of the stories.
