OPM artist Abby Clutario is set to release her newest single under GMA Music and AltG Records. The 1988 hit song "Chichi Wo Motomete'' by Ichirou Mizuki. Abby's 2020 cover of the Japanese track garnered attention from nostalgic fans, leading her to make the cover an official single.

Abby recalled how she was inspired to remake the song into a modern one. "Ang kwento nito, I covered this nung 2020, I think yun din 'yung panahon na naglabas na ng teaser for Voltes V: Legacy, so sabi ko since isa ito sa mga kantang naaalala ng marami dahil sa Voltes V. Naisip ko na gusto ko siyang lagyan ng twist, aregluhin ko siya, lalagyan ko siya ng twist kasi panglalaki yung kanta and then ginawa ko siya sa chapman stick."

She added, "Nagulat ako sa naging maganda naman 'yung reaction, very nostalgic daw. Hanggang sa I signed with AltG Records ang ginawa namin 'yung first single ko na 'Tadhana.' Nong nakuha ako, tapos nakakuha kami ng license to remake this song, very grateful ako kay Sir Teddy and Miss Michelle na pinush nila itong "Chichi Wo Motomete" para marelease ko sa digital streaming platforms."
