Kapuso director Mark Reyes took to Instagram to share his thoughts about Voltes V: Legacy and his personal experience directing the much-awaited live-action series.

He described Voltes V: Legacy as a “passion project."

“#voltesvlegacy is the definitive passion project for me. It is perhaps the most creatively challenging, emotionally stressful, physically taxing and white hair enduring series that I have been involved in.”

He also posted a group photo with the team behind Voltes V: Legacy--GMA Entertainment AVP for Drama Helen Rose Sese, Telesuccess Productions representatives Larson Chan and Teejay Del Rosario, and Voltes V: Legacy executive producer Darling Torres.

According to Direk Mark, having these people around is a “blessing” in this crazy journey.

“I am so blessed to have @hrss14 @darlingptorres @larsonchan and @teknikulay with me on this crazy journey. We have agreed and disagreed, starved and binged, laughed and cried, sweat and froze together these past 3 years.” The Kapuso director noted.

“But I wouldn't want anybody else to have my back and be by my side on this one epic ride. Tusen Tak! Leyva!!! to the real Emperium of VVL! Now where's the chicaron?”

Part of the star-studded cast of Voltes V: Legacy are Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Raphael Landicho, and Matt Lozano.

The show is set to premiere in 2023.
