The cast of Anak Ni Waray Vs. Anak Ni Biday all got together last September for their lock-in taping and to finish the scenes for their highly-anticipated return to GMA Telebabad.
In our Kapuso Showbiz News interview with the show's leading man, Migo Adecer, the young actor shared with us his reaction upon reuniting with his Anak Ni Waray Vs. Anak Ni Biday castmates.
"For me, that was really hard. We all wanted to give each other hugs but at the same time, we can't [because of] social distancing, this sucks. Elbows lang, elbow taps.
"We were just really happy that everybody was safe and then we caught up," he said.
As for the show's lock-in taping itself, Migo called the entire experience "interesting."
"On one part, we were able to show ourselves that we can finish taping at a very early time if we make sure that everything runs efficiently.
"At the same time, I hated staying at the hotel, I did not like it kasi it felt like I never really went home and I felt like I was working 24/7.
"The reason why I live in Makati and not somewhere near QC is because if I was in QC, I feel like I'm still at work because a lot of the work happens in QC. And I like the travel, makes me feel like I'm actually going home and it's away from all that jazz," Migo shared.
At the beginning of their lock-in taping, Migo admitted that he found it difficult getting back into character as Cocoy.
"I walked straight to Direk's room and I said 'Direk, pasensya na, hindi ko alam kung paano i-act si Cocoy ulit.' Medyo dusty na.
"I remember the first three tapings, I couldn't cry. But after the third day of taping, I was back in the saddle. It's like riding a bike pala."
One of the most notable things that happened to Migo during their taping was when he had to pre-order his PS5 from Australia while on set.
"I pre-ordered it a month ago when we were taping in Anak Ni Waray Vs. Anak Ni Biday and I remember because I was climbing trees just to get signal on my phone so I could pre-order the damn thing.
"Luckily, I did that because as soon as I pre-ordered it, when I refreshed the page, it said that wala na, no more pre-orders. So sakto, I just got in," he recalled.
You can catch his PS5 streams on his Facebook page, DougXplicit.
