The story of Alakdana begins with Vergel (Matthew Mendoza), a wealthy businessman who falls in love with their housemate, Teresa (Jean Garcia). Despite their hiding from Vergel's parents, their romance is stable, but that will change with the return of Vergel's ex-girlfriend and childhood friend, Zoila (Jobelle Salvador). She is willing to go to any length to reclaim Vergel's love, so she will learn about the golden scorpion and use its power with the help of a hermit.
