Due to unexpected circumstances, brothers Daniel (Dingdong Dantes) and Miguel (Dennis Trillo) got separated when they were just kids. Growing up, the long-lost brothers lived in different worlds; Daniel was the fortunate one, he was raised by his wealthy father while Miguel was taken by his mother Belen (Chanda Romero) but the two have eventually gone on their separate ways because his mother lost her mind. Miguel, meanwhile, lived a less unfortunate life in a fishing village where he experienced every struggle. Years after, they get drawn together by the people who are close to them as a rivalry ensues between the brothers.
