Hope (Carla Abellana), a heart transplant recipient, goes to Davao to save her family's struggling cocoa business. There, she meets Ponce (Tom Rodriguez), son of a local chocolate haciendero. She eyes to establish a partnership with him to pull their business up but their opposing nature keeps getting in the way. Little do they know that Ponce is the ex-boyfriend of her heart donor. Back in Manila, Hope's childhood friend Paul (Benjamin Alves) has been constantly wooing her despite the distance but she is oblivious to his charms. Later on, Paul decides to follow her in Davao hoping to finally win her heart. Can Hope choose between the saccharine life of familiarity with Paul or the bittersweet excitement with Ponce?
