Santina (Julie Ann San Jose) is a girl left orphaned at an early age. To support herself, she is forced to work at a restaurant owned by Diony (Jean Garcia). Diony sees Santina's perseverance and helps her out by sending her to school. They will form an unbreakable bond similar to that of a mother and daughter. Angeli (LJ Reyes), on the other hand, is neglected by her own mom Mariz (Ara Mina) because she is a product of a horrid past. She runs away from home and meets Diony. Diony then decides to adopt her and later on, she will help her with her business.
Santina and Angeli's worlds collide through Diony and her son Ephraim (Benjamin Alves). Santina and Ephraim are childhood best friends. Their friendship will blossom into a romantic relationship. Known for doing everything to move things her way, Angeli will do everything to get Diony and Ephraim's love and attention.
