Derived from the popular expression TGIF, "T.G.I.S." or "Thank God It's Sabado (Saturday)" was a youth-oriented drama series that tells the story of a group of teenage friends with jiving personalities--Wacks (Bobby Andrews), Peachy (Angelu de Leon), Mickey (Michael Flores), Cris (Raven Villanueva), and Kiko (Red Sternberg)--and how they deal with various challenges in life while growing up.
