The Office of the City Prosecutor of Calapan, Oriental Mindoro, dismissed a complaint for libel filed by Doctor Idol Bondoc of the Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital (OMPH) against GMA News Online Editor-in-Chief and GMA News and Public Affairs personality Howie Severino, and GMA News Research Head Florian Balmes for insufficiency of evidence. UAE Demolay alumni group brings early Christmas cheer to displaced OFWs at Phil Consulate

Members of Desert Chevalier Demolay Alumni Chapter No. 43 recently brought in early Christmas cheers to the 85 displaced Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) under the care of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (POLO-OWWA) at the Philippine Consulate offices in Dubai. The group, which is the 2nd chapter outside of the Philippines and is duly recognized by the DeMolay Alumni Association of the Philippines and the Supreme Council of the Order of DeMolay, Republic of the Philippines, organized and hosted a free lunch and distributed care packages last November 30, 2012.
