GMA Kapuso Foundation (GMAKF) is joining hands with The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for its ‘Rebuild Marawi Project’, an on-going rebuilding and rehabilitation program in public elementary schools in Marawi City.
Present in the memorandum of agreement signing were GMAKF EVP and COO Rikki Escudero-Catibog (center), with The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s VP for Marketing and Business Development Paolo Del Rosario (left) and Brand Manager Kim Cruz (right).
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and GMAKF, respectively through their Caring Cup and Rebuild Dreams in Marawi campaigns, are encouraging customers to donate by adding any amount on top of their in-store purchases nationwide. The proceeds will go to raising funds for upcycled chairs and tables that will be provided to three public elementary schools in Marawi City. The campaign runs from July 1 until Sept 30, 2019.
With the help of multi-sectoral partners, GMAKF was the first foundation to turnover a new school building in Marawi city, a year after its liberation.
