LOOK: John Kallos runs Stags' training amid reports of San Sebastian coaching gig

John Kallos has now started handling the training sessions of San Sebastian College-Recoletos amidst reports that he has replaced Egay Macaraya at the helm of the Stags ahead of NCAA Season 99.

In a series of photos he posted himself on Facebook, Kallos was seen leading the camp as the Stags look to bounce back after a fifth place finish in the previous season.

"[It's] officially [the] 1st day of training," Kallos said in the caption. "Thank you for the trust, San Sebastian community."

Kallos will inherit a roster tipped to be led by Alex Desoyo, Jessie Sumoda, Rhinwil Yambing, Rafael Are, Romel Calahat, and Raymart Escobido, who are all expected to fill in the shoes left by Ichie Altamirano and Ammar Cosari.

GMA Integrated News reached out to Kallos for confirmation, but was told an official announcement from the school will be released soon.
